There are three major airports in and around New York City:
JFK International airport, Newark International airport and LaGurdia International airport.
If you decide to stay at one of the two hotels in Long Island City (which are within 2-3 blocks of our venue), then we would highly recommend you try your best to book a flight into LaGuardia airport, as it is a 15 minute and $25 cab ride to the hotels. JFK would be the next closest.
We find that Kayak always has the cheapest airfares. Expedia and Orbitz are also good.
Taxis: Also, it's always a good rule to avoid any and all cabs that are not yellow and branded with the NYC Taxi logo. Not that all black cabs or "gypsy" cabs are bad, but the TLC NYC Taxi cabs are all more closely sanctioned and often cheaper. Look for a Taxi stand at the airport.
For Those Outside New York Travelling By Car
For Those In or Around New York City Travelling By Subway
For those of you who have been to our apartment, the venue is literally two blocks north and one block west of our place.
Afterwards...
If it's late and you don't want to be bothered to look or wait for a yellow cab, here is the number to a very fast, very polite and very, very affordable cab service:
Express 11 Cab Service:
(718) 499-3535
