THANK YOU!!!!
Such ridiculous happiness...there are no words.
So I'll skip that part.
For those who did not receive a CD on your way out, here is the Dropbox link, tracklist and liner notes.
We had originally discussed just letting the music speak for itself as it's a pretty perfect sonic representation of the two of us, but...there are limits.
Enjoy!
If you can!

Tracklist & comments
1. Murray Gold - 'Doctor Who' theme (2005)
We watch the show...but this isn't about that... During the credits, we have a sort of...competition...? I...can't explain it...
But Christina wins almost every time.
2. Eels - Fresh Feeling
Out of all the music we love, Eels is the best band, and this is the best song that best expresses how we see life and each other.
3. Lou Reed - Andy's Chest
Aside from the fact that David Bowie sings backing vocals on this, there is swooping, rocking and hairy minded pink bare bears. Three things of which Chris and Paul are big fans.
4. Gorillaz - Superfast Jellyfish
Christina will sometimes wear a helmet and become Noodle, the Japanese guitarist for this fake, animated band. And Paul is sometimes superfast. And this makes him giggle.
5. Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama
Okay, so...Christina was once the personal assistant to the producer of the Neil Jordan film "The Brave One". After the film wrapped, there was a cast party downtown that included karaoke. Christina invited me and, since I didn't know anyone there and had nothing invested, I decided to partake in said karaoke. Christina had been rather withdrawn during the shoot and, when we got up and performed this song...okay. When you're listening to this, picture Paul with a ponytail halfway down his back and a massive, bushy beard. Picture him taking down said hair and whipping it around while doing the kicks and madly thrusting his pelvis while Christina grinds up against him; then she jumps up on a table, ruffles her skirts and air kicks while reaching her arms to the sky. Then picture Jodie Foster sitting about three feet from Paul's aforementioned pelvis...eyes wide and glazed. We owned that karaoke night.
Afterwards, the crew said to Christina "I had no idea..." And Neil Jordan's wife: "The Coen brothers should make a movie about you two."
Christina no longer works in the film industry.
6. Erasure - Chains Of Love
In one sentence: Paul showed Christina tubgirl and played this to help her stop thinking about it; it didn't really work. If you don't know who tubgirl is, don't ever ask.
7. David Bowie - Chilly Down
"Labyrinth" is one of Paul and Christina's favorite movies. It has everything they love in it: David Bowie, puppets, flying babies, goblins, David Bowie's dance belt and Ludo (who is certainly kin of Paul's). Christina has been on the fringe of working with the Henson's and Paul grew up three blocks from Jim Henson's house, wherein he had his picture taken with a wall full of Muppets. They both met Brian Froud who designed all of the puppets (Christina took a class from he and his wife!), and almost bought one of his Tinkerbell paintings for their yet unborn daughter of the future in a dangerous puppet-led auction. They were destined to have puppets in their lives and this is a song for puppets (and the close, personal friends of puppets) to dance to.
8. Eels - I Like Birds
Paul likes birds. Christina likes that Paul likes birds and also likes birds. They have heartbirds that live in each other's hearts. Christina's is a magpie and Paul's is a sparrow. They hop and jump when the two are happy. Anyone who has yet to vomit has no soul.
9. David Bowie - Let Me Sleep Beside You
Some years ago, Chris took Paul to a multi-part David Bowie retrospective at the Museum of Television & Radio in Manhattan. One of the pieces shown was an early video of his for this song. The dance moves Bowie employs herein have always intrigued them and that is why it was their first dance.
You can view the video here.
10. The Mighty Boosh - Soup
A crimp about tasty soup. What could be more simple?
11. Nine Inch Nails - The Perfect Drug
Both Paul and Christina have been fans of Nine Inch Nails for a while, but this song in particular brought them together; reawakening Chris' interest in the band, and awakening, partly, her interest in Paul.
It is, by far, not the most unlistenable song featured here.
12. Air - La Femme D'Argent
The video Paul and Christina have in their heads for this song involves a myriad of various floating pugs and fireworks.
No more information is offered or required.
13. Matt Berry - Theme for "Snuff Box"
One night while browsing the "Dark, British Comedy" section of their Instant Netflix, Christina happened upon a show starring two actors she had seen in other British television shows. She watched the first episode and was immediately convinced that Paul had, somehow, written several of the sketches. They watched the entire six episode series in a matter of days, confused, shocked and, more often than not, laughing. Aside from the opening and closing credits, a completely different version of this song was performed in every episode.
Warning: this song is catchy as hell.
14. David Byrne & St. Vincent - Who
Even without any background, you have to admit this song is incredibly solid, but, throw in the fact that it's from an album created (seemingly out of the blue) by one of Chris' favorite artists (Byrne) and one of Paul's favorite artists (St. Vincent), and things get spooky. Christina and Paul saw Byrne and St. Vincent live in concert (about ten feet from David Byrne) and it remains one of their favorite concert-going experiences.
15. Beck - E-Pro
This song makes Paul and Christina think of elegant, dancing bats.
16. Renaldo and The Loaf - Is Guava A Donut?
Christina and Paul listened to this in college while wrapped in large blankets pretending to be larvae.
They suggest you the same with someone you care about.
There were no drugs or alcohol involved.
17. The Mighty Boosh - Tundra Rap
A rap about the tundra. That's ends with howling. Which is important.
18. Klaus Nomi - Simple Man
Once, when Christina was very, very tired, she mispronounced the word "delirious" as "delirimouse". Some time later, she played this for Paul. Then, they decided that the lyrics should be "I am simple mouse / squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, AHHHHHHH!!!"
This is not an explanation.
19. The Smashing Pumpkins - We Only Come Out At Night
More dancing bats.
20. They Might Be Giants - Bird Of The Bee Of The Moth
Paul has been a huge fan of TMBG for almost twenty years now and, while Chris has gone to several concerts with him, she's never really put any of their music on to just listen...until about six months ago.
She feels this song encapsulates the wonder they feel for certain things in life.
He's just happy he no longer has to drag her to They Might Be Giants concerts.
21. Eels - Old Shit/New Shit
Chris and Paul started dating in February of 1999. They got engaged in June of 2010, married in March of 2013.
They're tired of the old shit and want the new shit to begin.
22. The Mighty Boosh - Eels Mash Up
A song about eels getting inside your body and- FINE! NEITHER OF US HAS ANY IDEA WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE MIGHTY BOOSH. Except maybe Christina, who thinks it reminds her of our day to day life. Not the eels part though.
